Toddler Time at Moose Creek Creative
Join us for Toddler Time, a special creative experience designed just for little makers ages 2–5.
Each 45-minute session includes a fun, age-appropriate story followed by a coordinating hands-on craft project. Projects are designed so toddlers can create, explore colors and textures, practice fine motor skills, and leave with something they are proud to show off.

Cost: $5 per child, per session
Location: Moose Creek Creative, Rexburg
Each session includes: Story time + coordinating craft project
A parent or caregiver stays with their child during Toddler Time and is welcome to help as much, or as little, as their little maker needs.

Little Blue Truck
Story: Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle
Beep, beep! We’re kicking off Toddler Time with a favorite story filled with farm animals, silly sounds, and one very helpful little blue truck.
Craft: Little Blue Truck Collage
Little makers will create their own country truck. Kids can add wheels, farm animals, and plenty of "mud" using paints.

Fall Leaves
Story: The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming
Where did all the leaves go? This funny fall story introduces little ones to changing seasons, colorful leaves, and one very confused squirrel.
Craft: Fall Leaf Suncatcher
Kids will create a colorful fall leaf suncatcher using red, orange, yellow, and brown tissue paper.
Once finished, take it home and hang it in a sunny window to let all those beautiful fall colors shine through.
What to Expect
Toddler Time is meant to be relaxed, playful, and toddler-friendly. We know two-year-olds and five-year-olds create very differently, and that is part of the fun.
Projects may include gluing, painting, stamping, sticking, coloring, sensory materials, and other simple art techniques. We prepare projects specifically for this age group so children can participate successfully without needing advanced cutting or crafting skills.
And no, their project does not need to look like the sample. Around here, crooked wheels and wildly placed tissue paper count as artistic vision.
