We have exciting news for homeschool families in Rexburg and the surrounding communities! Moose Creek Creative is now an approved vendor with Overture Learning, giving participating families a new way to bring hands-on art education into their homeschool routine.
Eligible families can use their available Overture Learning funds toward our Homeschool Art Club, subject to Overture’s approval and funding guidelines.
Creative Fun With Real Art Skills
Our Homeschool Art Club gives kids the opportunity to explore their creativity while learning skills they can build on. Through hands-on projects, students experiment with materials, practice techniques, and discover their own artistic style.
Our classes explore:
- Different materials, including paint, clay, markers, and pencils.
- Color mixing and art theory, helping students understand how colors and design work together.
- Art techniques and styles, encouraging kids to try new approaches.
- A little art history, introducing artists and the ideas behind their work.
Each class gives students opportunities to make creative choices, solve problems, and practice new skills. Along the way, they can build confidence and connect with other young artists.
Bringing Art Into Your Homeschool
Art makes room for curiosity, experimentation, and self-expression. A new material or technique can encourage a child to slow down, look closely, and try something they haven’t done before.
At Moose Creek Creative, we want students to enjoy the process as much as the finished project. Every artist starts somewhere, and our studio offers a welcoming place to learn, practice, and create.
For homeschool families, Art Club adds a dedicated art experience to the week, with instruction, materials, and a place to make the creative mess!
Using Your Overture Learning Funds
Overture Learning allows participating families to request direct payment to approved vendors for approved educational services, including classes. Families select the vendor in their account, enter the expense information, and submit a payment request.
To get started with our Homeschool Art Club:
- Contact Moose Creek Creative for current class details and registration information.
- Check your available funds and confirm eligibility with Overture Learning, including which club fees may be covered.
- Submit your payment request through Overture Learning, selecting Moose Creek Creative and providing the required class information.
Please contact us before paying through our regular online checkout if you plan to use Overture Learning funds, so we can help coordinate your registration.
